We seek the position of a Business Development Manager in our Lagos Office
Job Description
This role’s primary focus is to support the business in increasing new customers and revenue through developing and maintaining key stakeholder relationships, researching and identifying new business opportunities, and continuing to build new partnership opportunities with new clients.
While working in conjunction with the Student Recruitments Manager, the role has focus on Student Placement while covering all facets of NeGxy’s business.
Key Responsibilities
- 1. Client Identification: Identify and target new key clients within the high school sector, encompassing both private and government institutions, as well as potential Referral Partners.
- 2. Relationship Building: Establish strong and trustworthy relationships with newly identified key contacts. This engagement will facilitate effective stakeholder and client interactions, resulting in increased lead generation and referrals.
- 3. Contract Management: Prepare, execute, and periodically review contracts and Memorandums of Understanding (MOUs) with referral partners. Ensure these agreements align with NeGxy’s goals and foster productive collaborations.
- 4. Commercial Terms: Collaborate on the development and review of commercial terms with new and existing clients. Strive to optimize revenue potential for NeGxy through favorable and strategic terms.
- 5. Stakeholder Management: Handle all stakeholder and client relationships with the utmost professionalism, embodying NeGxy’s reputation as an innovative leader in the market.
- 6. Client Retention: Develop and execute strategies for effectively managing relationships, understanding stakeholder and client needs, and ensuring client retention.
- 7. Relationship Enhancement: Identify opportunities for strengthening connections between key client contacts and NeGxy, fostering mutual growth and satisfaction.
- 8. Engagement Activities: Participate in events, meetings, calls, and other relevant activities to cultivate relationships with potential stakeholders and clients. These interactions will play a pivotal role in generating leads.
- 9. Client Proposition: Maintain and refine the NeGxy client proposition to ensure its alignment with market demands and client expectations.
- 10. Client Engagement Strategy: Develop and execute a comprehensive client engagement strategy and communication plan. This plan should reflect market and state trends, catering to new clients in the high school sector, Referral Partners, Migration Agents, and professional/client associations.
- 11. Presentation Delivery: Create and deliver impactful presentations that support the client acquisition process. These presentations will communicate NeGxy’s value proposition effectively.
- 12. Lead Follow-Up: Proactively follow up on leads and navigate the client acquisition process in a manner that is both efficient and professional.
- 13. Continuous Improvement: Identify avenues for ongoing improvement and advocate for the implementation of new practices. Strive to optimize processes and outcomes based on these opportunities.
These responsibilities are integral to driving NeGxy’s growth and ensuring robust relationships with key stakeholders and clients within the high school sector. Your efforts will be essential in positioning NeGxy as a market leader and facilitating its continued success.

Job Type: Full-time
Salary: ₦250,000.00 – ₦350,000.00 per month
Ability to commute/relocate:
- Ikeja: Reliably commute or planning to relocate before starting work (Required)
Experience:
- business development/sales/ marketing: 3 years (Required)
