Key Responsibilities
As a Back End Engineer at ESA, you will be a key player in our build team, responsible for designing and developing the backend APIs that power our innovative solutions. Your role will encompass various aspects:
- Collaborate with our no-code specialists and UI/UX designers to create seamless functionality that addresses client needs.
- Design and develop high-quality APIs using Node.js with TypeScript, ensuring robustness and security.
- Analyze UI/UX designs to identify necessary APIs and data requirements, contributing to efficient database designs.
- Maintain self-organization and adaptability, transitioning smoothly between tasks to ensure continuous productivity.
- Deliver mature and tested builds, actively participating in quality assurance processes.
- Prioritize output quantity and speed without compromising the quality and maintainability of your work.
- Develop solutions that are easy to iterate and maintain over time, utilizing logical thinking and analysis.

Qualifications
- Proficiency in programming with JavaScript, particularly Node.js, and TypeScript.
- Strong understanding of database design, management, and API development.
- Ability to analyze UI/UX designs, identify required APIs, and design data structures accordingly.
- Adept at self-organization and productivity, able to navigate roadblocks and switch tasks seamlessly.
- Dedication to producing high-quality, thoroughly-tested builds for production.
- Eagerness to maintain a minimalist approach to complexity and embrace tools that facilitate scalability and maintainability.
- Commitment to continuous learning and adaptation, staying informed about technological advancements.
- Excellent communication skills to collaborate with team members across various disciplines.
- Prior experience with GraphQL, REST APIs, and no-code platforms (N8N, NocoDB) is a plus.
- Demonstrated ability to work in a remote and distributed team environment.
