Key Responsibilities
As a Software Development Engineer at Nexaya, you will:
- Develop and oversee testing schedules in client-server environments, ensuring consistent content display across various browsers and devices.
- Produce, refactor, and meticulously review high-quality code to maintain and elevate the company’s software standards.
- Provide insightful recommendations for system solutions by conducting comprehensive research, market analysis, and product comparisons, considering factors such as scalability, feasibility, efficiency, and the pros and cons of custom development versus purchase alternatives.
- Collaborate seamlessly across technical and cross-departmental teams, catalyzing enhanced performance and efficiency within your own team.
- Create and maintain well-organized backlogs and sprints, ensuring a streamlined workflow and efficient task management.
- Maintain regular communication with stakeholders, product and project managers, QA teams, front-end developers, and other technical personnel to update on progress and align with the long-term technology roadmap.
Requirements
- An in-depth mastery of React JS, inclusive of React Context and adept state management.
- Proficiency in HTML and CSS to create visually stunning and functional interfaces, further enhanced by your knowledge of Flexbox.
- A firm grasp of TypeScript and the practical application of Tailwind CSS for streamlined development.
- Confidence in JavaScript, alongside experience with Ajax, Fetch, and Axios for dynamic content handling.
- The ability to seamlessly integrate third-party JavaScript libraries, enriching the depth of your applications.
- A familiarity with tools like Postman, NPM, VScode, and Git, promoting collaborative and effective teamwork.
- A demonstrated aptitude for contributing to existing projects, showcasing your adaptability and problem-solving acumen.
- Outstanding communication skills, enabling you to thrive in a remote work environment.
- A proactive approach to research, with the capability to independently explore and conquer challenges.
Qualifications
The successful candidate should possess:
- A bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or a related field (master’s preferred).
- Proven experience in software development, with a strong grasp of testing methodologies and client-server environments.
- Proficiency in producing clean, efficient, and well-documented code.
- A strategic mindset with the ability to analyze and compare market trends and products for optimal system solutions.
- Excellent teamwork skills and a track record of raising team performance and collaboration.
